The clutch is a very important part of your vehicle and without it you'd be unable to change gears.

Your clutch may wear out over time and there are a number signs (see below) to look out for that could mean you need to replace your clutch.

• Difficulty shifting gear

• Ability to rev the car engine but poor acceleration

• 'Slipping' clutch, causing loss of acceleration

• Squeaking noise when clutch pedal is pressed

• Spongy or sticking clutch pedal

• Vibrating or loose clutch pedal when pressed
